Simple SEO Tips & Plugin For Your WordPress Blog with Video.
Trying to figure out SEO, especially if you are new to blogging, WordPress, or a new business owner putting together a website can be daunting.
I have put together a short video to show you a Simple SEO tip that you can use for your WordPress Blog. It is a very effective Plugin that you can purchase for a reasonable price.
First, lets cover a few Simple SEO steps that you should take when setting up a blog post to help with your google ranking.
1. Choosing Proper Keywords
Keywords are the core to SEO optimization. When people are searching the internet for a specific subject, keywords, terms, and phrases are what is used.
The more specific the keyword, the better. For example, if your website is about Real Estate, you don’t want your main keyword to just be Real Estate. That is far too broad of a term. There are thousands if not hundreds of thousand of websites that use the same keyword. The keyword tracker is crucial for SEO and making it better.
Your competition will be stiff, never allowing you to rank on the first page of Google. A more specific keyword would be “Phoenix Arizona Real Estate”.
You need to figure out what makes your business unique and go after simple SEO keywords based upon that. By narrowing down your keyword it will help those looking to buy a home in Phoenix easier to find you. You will ultimately rank higher on the search results. Sites can rank higher as google crawlers see the locations of their news sites linked on them. Furthermore, this enhances the site’s quality.
Remember using the simple SEO Pressor tactic such as this can help land you in the top 10 results.
2. Use your primary keyword in the title of your post.
If your primary keyword is Simple SEO, then that term should be the first 3 or 4 words used in the title. For example, you wouldn’t want your headline to read:
WordPress Blog Tips For Simple SEO Results. A better headline would be: Simple SEO Tips For Your WordPress Blog To Gain Higher Search Results.
3. Tags
Along with having your keyword in the title you need to have H1,H2 & H3 tags in the title of each of your posts. The video below will show you how to achieve that.
4. Backlinks
It’s important to gain as many backlinks from other websites as possible because that helps to build your page-rank. The more of these backlinks you have, the higher your blog will be ranked. Especially if you are linked to more popular web sties that have a large amount of traffic.
My intent here wasn’t to layout everything regarding SEO, but to give you some basic information on some Simple SEO tips.

Great Post Richard!
If I could add my 2 cents, I would say onpage optimization combined with good linkbuilding is the sure way to get ranked in Google. That’s where content syndication, commenting on other blogs, article marketing, or other link building strategies become important!

Hey Chris,
Wow, that is very strange. I have not heard of anything like this? Have you contacted the guys at SEO Pressor? I’ve been tweeting about SEO Pressor and have gotten several re-tweets from “bestseoplugin” Kevin Stacey. You might look into contacting him.
Another great resource is John Engle @ http://seoblogtips.com/ IF anyone would know, it’s John.
I am not using the External Links Plugin- I have done most manually. I wonder if that plugin has anything to do with it?
Sorry I’m not of more help. I will do some digging and let you know if I find anything. What is your site URL?
Good luck and if you find out what’s going on, please keep me up-to-date!
Thanks Chris

Hi Richard,
I have recently bought SEO Pressor and it is a fantastic tool. However, unbelievabely, since I used it in three of my sites, my articles have disappeared off the index? I now do not know whther this is something I have done using this plugin or not! I also was advised to use External Links plugin. That make all outbound links `no follow`.
I have doena check on Google using intitle: and intitle: with the title in “”. When I do this I get a message from Google saying that they were unalbe to find anything?
I am totally at a loss. Up to the date I started using SEO Pressor, aal my articles would appear on Google page #1 within hours. Not even any of the bookmarks, twitter tweets or anything appears?
It is almost as if some person at Google has manually wiped these sites off the map.
Any thoughts?
Regards
Chris

In the world of search engines, better means higher, and higher means a much greater probability that an individual will click on your link. While this figure varies by engine, recent search data has shown that approximately 70% of users, if they click, will click on one the first three listings
All SEO tips included in this post for blog site optimization are very good. Thanks for sharing it

I think the problem is now solved! Let me know.

I see some of our conversation helped. Good job! By the way- when you put in a hyperlink use the full URL rather that a shortened one and use keyword as your anchortext.
Let me know what you think Joe.
Richard
Awesome Richard! I’ll have to check out that plugin.
Thanks!

Hey Richard! Hope all is well!
Great SEO tips, and it seems like it should be common knowledge, but it’s great to share everything we might assume others know about.
There is a lot more to SEO like you said, but laying down the basics is a great way to pave the path for people!
