I set out today with the intent on creating an article on How To Use Social Media To Grow Your Business, which by the way is no small subject to discuss!
Sure , I’ve been doing my research over the last several months and of course implementing different strategies along the way…
So as I was getting ready to put this article together, I came across an excellent post by my good friend Penny Turko – http://PennyTurko.com and decided rather than invest the time and research doing an article on why you need to be using Social Media…
If you’re confused with temporary work and part-time work, check out what are part time jobs on perelson.com.

I would feature her as a guest blogger and share a tiny bit of her article with you. (Upon her approval of course) You can click the link at the bottom of the page to get her full article!
Doesn’t it seem like every time you turn around there’s another new Social Network that you must be connected with? Pinterest & Google+ are just two of the more recent social sites that come to mind.
I mention those two because in a short time they have grown in popularity quickly. At first I thought it wasn’t going to be necessary to join yet another network. After all, I am already active on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumbler and several others… (guess I missed the mark on that one!)
I’ll bet many of you reading this right now are thinking Social Media doesn’t work or it’s just a waste of time! Hey, I’m not one to run around telling people they are wrong but…
YOU ARE DEAD WRONG on this one!
Facebook and YouTube have become the main form of FREE advertising for not only internet marketers, but main stream fortune 500 companies, down to mom & pop shops! You can’t open an magazine, look at a billboard, website, or business card without seeing… “Find Us On Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube”
You Must Be Using Social Media To Grow Your Business If You Plan On Staying In Business! End of Story…
Alright, this is supposed to be less about my thoughts and more from Penny. Although I’m sure I will chime in again…
Below you will find a snippet from Penny’s article and proof about the power of Social Media.
Be sure and CLICK HERE to read Penny’s full post! It’s loaded with the answer as to why you need to be using Social Media as part of your business strategy!

Penny also goes into detail on how Social Media can:
“Share Content With 1000’s of Social Sites At The Push of a Button”
“Why Attracting Prospects To You Works”
“Alleviate Your Biggest Business Building Frustrations.”
Hey, it’s me again… (told ya) I would like to touch on the biggest building frustrations for a moment but, you still have to visit Penny’s blog to get all the answers! She leaves no stone unturned!
What’s the biggest frustration you have in building your business? (especially a network marketing / MLM business)
Having enough people to talk and share your opportunity with, right?
With Social Media you can reach across the globe and have a conversation with anyone. Twitter alone (which is my largest source of traffic) has over 500 million users, with billions of conversations going on every month. Facebook is now up to 800 million users and lets not forget YouTube and the power of video.
So I ask you… Do you still think you have no prospects left to share your business/opportunity with?
Well enough from me… If you want the “Rest of The Story” (AND YOU DO) on why you need to be using social media then, CLICK HERE To Read Penny’s Article!
She’s even got a fun little video posted to illustrate why!

Thanks Penny so much for allowing me to share your article with my readers! You always have such great content and I find myself at your site time and again learning new things!

It sure has! Social media can no longer be overlooked or written off as a fad. Mobile applications are the same. Both are creating a whole new market that will continue to explode over the next several years.

The statistics of the amount of people that are effected by social media are amazing. Social media has truly become a vital part of any successful internet marketing campaign. Because of the increased popularity though, the cost of such a campaign is increasing, and those social media networks are catching on to the craze and beginning to charge more and more money for their services. However, in today’s market, a social media campaign is worth it.
Thanks Anna,

Hey Thanks Adam,
It is hard to believe people are still resistant to using Social Media.
Social media is really going to play a big role with the search engines now that Google has changed the rules once again. The link below explains.

Richard,
I enjoyed this post. It’s amazing to me how many people avoid social media. Any thoughts on where this came from?
Hey Adam
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! It’s cool that we have also connected on Twitter. How’s your biz going?
I’m not sure what you mean about “thoughts where this came from?” Penny Turko and I did a guest blog on each others site.
