Affiliate Marketing Programs – Network Referral Systems Review!

Affiliate Marketing ProgramsAffiliate Marketing Programs – Are they worth promoting?    Every now and then I look to review new companies in the network marketing/affiliate marketing space. I have come across a relatively new company with a unique product and system that is worth sharing. The Founder of Network Referral Systems and this little unknown new affiliate marketing program was once part of the oldest and largest MLM company who became disenchanted with the traditional MLM structure.

His goal is to create an affiliate program where the average person can make a 6 figure income, IF they follow a simple system and work the business. While Network Referral Systems isn’t exactly in a sexy or glamours sector, I believe you will be hearing an awful lot about them in the near future.

With literally thousands of affiliate marketing programs to chose from, this unique program and product is in the virtually untapped space of Home Security Alarm Systems.

That doesn’t sound so sexy right? But wait, before you click off this page you should read the rest of this review. What makes for great Affiliate Marketing Program?

Here are 4 things to look for in your search for the best affiliate marketing programs!

1. Product Demand

2. Commission Structure

3. Payment Process

4. Product Quality & Reputation

Choosing a product in high demand is key to becoming successful in any affiliate program.

In doing my research for this review I headed over to one of the biggest Affiliate Marketplaces online – ClickBank. If you are not familiar with their service, they offer thousands of companies and products you can promote. They are free to join and you can get started promoting right away.  Click2Sell is another Marketplace worth looking at.

The trick to using ClickBank type programs is finding a product or service that has high consumer demand, with minimal affiliates promoting it.  Not so easy to do.

In researching ClickBanks offers I found there is not ONE Home Security Alarm company offering a affiliate program. This was a bit alarming (pun intended). Is it because there is no demand for this type product and program, or just no home security companies offering it?

To answer that question I had to look at product demand. Here’s what I found.

Only 17% of U.S. homes have a security system.

Every 13 seconds a home intrusion is committed.

2.5 million+ home intrusions are committed each year.

Nearly 66% of all burglaries are residential break-ins.

Homes without security systems are up to 300% more likely to be broken into.

In my, view those statistics seem to warrant a solid demand, so commission structure is the next area to research.

Commission Structure Comparing Network Referral Systems to offers available on ClickBank and other similar companies, here are my findings.

Typical affiliate products offered on ClickBank pay 50% to 75% of the sale. The average product sells for $25.00 to $65.00 dollars. Commissions range between $32.50 to $48.75 per sale in this scenario. The highest paying commission is $150.00

Most do not have any type of residual payout connected so it’s a one time fee per sale. Not to say there aren’t offers that do pay a residual because many do. From my research I would say 75% did not have a residual connected.

With that said, ClickBank and others offer a very respectable percentage and commission, if you know how, and can drive enough traffic to your ads.

Network Referral Systems has 2 commission structures in place and I was surprised to learn of the extremely generous compensation plan offered. You can choose to give away systems, or sell them and build a residual income by sharing the Network Referral Systems Program.

Plan 1 – $300.00 Commission – 15% 3 levels deep. Give Away Free Security System Kit Includes: 1 Control Panel 2 Way Voice / Medical Alert 3 Sensors Motion Detector – Pet Immune 1 Keyfob & GSM – No Phone Line Required 36 Month Monitoring Agreement Must be a Homeowner Free Installation

Plan 2 – $100.00 Commission with 15% residual – 3 levels + matrix Sell Security Systems Kit Includes: 1 Control Panel 2 Way Voice / Medical Alert 3 Sensors Motion Detector – Pet Immune 1 Keyfob & GSM – No Phone Line Required Month to Month Monitoring Agreement Renters, Homeowners, & Businesses 10x10x10 Forced Matrix

Payment Process is the 3rd piece of the puzzle when looking for the best affiliate marketing system to promote. Some affiliate marketing companies such as Click2Sell pay through eWallet systems such as Payza, PayPal, Authorize.net. Fees of up to 7% apply. ClickBank has some payment threshold rules to follow. Once these requirements are met, you can move to a direct deposit payment method. Other Affiliate programs such as the EVG require a 30 day holding period due to the 30 day money back guarantee they offer, pushing your pay date out as far as 60 days. Network Referral Systems currently pays bi-monthly by paper check, but soon will have a Debit or Credit Card system in place that will be loaded bi-monthly.

Product Quality & Reputation Perhaps this goes without saying but you should look for a company and product with the best quality and reputation in its industry. Because almost all affiliate products available offer a 30 day money back guarantee, in order to protect your commissions, it’s best to investigate each companies quality, reputation and return rate if those numbers are available.

My due diligence on Network Referral Systems provided me with this info: NRS has partnered with SkyLine Security Products, who has seen double digit growth in the last year. They are using one of top monitoring dealers in the nation, Monitronics.

Monitronics was founded in 1994 and has over 750,000 residential customers. They were named the 2008, 2010, & 2011 Monitoring Company of The Year!

They are currently working with The Department of Homeland Security Defense and the Secret Service.

They were also in charge of security at the G8 Summit Conference.

In closing, Network Referral Systems appears to have a solid foundation in the home security industry. It’s in a niche that has NO competition in the affiliate marketing space that I can find. With only 17% of U.S. households protected, that leaves 83% of the population as potential customers. The ability to give systems away for free is very attractive. They also have state of the art equipment, are partnered with the most successful companies in the industry and pay above average commissions while offering a residual income package.

Affiliate marketing programs can be a profitable way to make a living! If you’ve been looking for a company to partner with, NRS may just be the company youweren’t even looking for…

I would agree with you on MLM’s but a lot of referral programs offer a great way to make a substantial passive income with little effort.

The Elevation Group and NRS continue to provide me with a steady yearly income. I will say for the serious affiliate marketer, ClickBank is an excellent choice.

    Thanks Thomas for your comment!

Not a fan of multi level marketing and referral systems, prefer the old school original affiliate marketing strategies, like you mentioned clickbank I think is still the best for this.
