How to choose Long Tail Keywords

Good Keyword research is paramount in landing you on the first page of a Google Search.

Often times people choose keywords that are far too generic leaving themselves no chance of being found in a Google Search.

Long Tail Keywords are keywords that contain more than three or four words that someone would type in a google search.

They may not be as common or searched for as often as a single keyword, but long tail keywords will have a lot less competition, giving you a better chance to rank in the first few spots, or at least land you on the first page of a google search.

Generic Keywords such as: Home Based Business and Work At Home are going to produce a large number of requests and searches each month, and at the same time, there will be millions of websites competing for the same keyword.

Work at home for instance has 1,900,000,000 results, or nearly 2 Billion, (yes you read that right)… Billion with a B websites competing for that keyword.

So, what do you think your chances of getting the top spot, or even getting a spot on the first page is going to be with a keyword like “Work From Home”?

Chances are iffy that you’ll even end up on page 156.

Long Tail Keywords properly chosen should give you search results of 25,000 or less. Now that is something we can compete with and I am going to show you how.

In this video I am going to show you how the long tail keywords that I used for my article about Forwarding and Masking a Domain produced the number 1 & 2 spot on google.
